ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ျပည္ေထာင္စုေရြးေကာက္ပြဲေကာ္မရွင္ (UEC) သည္ ၂၀၁၅ ႏိုဝင္ဘာလ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲမ်ားကို ေလ့လာေစာင့္ၾကည့္ရန္ ျပည္တြင္းႏွင့္ ႏိုင္ငံတကာ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲေလ့လာေစာင့္ၾကည့္ေရးအဖြဲ႕မ်ား ႏွစ္မ်ဳိးစလံုး အား ႀကိဳဆိုခဲ့ၿပီး ေလ့လာေစာင့္ၾကည့္မည္႔ အဖြဲ႕အမ်ဳိးအစားတိုင္းအတြက္ လိုက္နာရန္ က်င့္ဝတ္မ်ားကို ထုတ္ျပန္ ခဲ႔ေသာ္လည္း ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲေလ့လာေစာင့္ၾကည့္ေရးအတြက္ ဥပေဒတြင္ အခြင့္အာဏာ ေပး ထားျခင္း မရွိေပ။

ဤစာတမ္းသည္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲဆိုင္ရာ ဥပေဒမူေဘာင္ ျပဳျပင္ေျပာင္းလဲေရးႏွင့္ သက္ဆိုင္ေသာ ကိစၥရပ္မ်ားအတြက္ ႏိႈင္းယွဥ္ျပထားေသာ သာဓကမ်ားကို ေဖၚျပမႈမ်ား၏ တစိတ္တပိုင္းျဖစ္သည္။ စာတမ္းတြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံမွ လက္ရိွဥပေဒမ်ား၏ အေျခအေနကို အက်ဥ္းၿခံဳးေဖာ္ျပထားကာ အျခားႏိုင္ငံမ်ားတြင္ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲ ေလ႔လာေစာင္႔ၾကည္႔ျခင္းအတြက္ ဥပေဒနမူနာမ်ားလည္း ေဖာ္ျပထားပါသည္။
