Gentiana Gola

Adviser, Democracy Assessment

Gentiana Gola is part of the Democracy Assessment (DA) team of Global Programmes as an Adviser. Her work focuses on research and analysis, communication, outreach and coordination in support of the Global State of Democracy (GSoD) programme.

Prior to joining International IDEA in April 2022, Gentiana Gola was a National Programme Officer at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Democratization Department. At the OSCE, Gentiana was engaged in the representative participation, focusing on women, youth and non-majority communities. She was also part of the civil society, where she was engaged in project management and coordination at the Kosovar Gender Studies Center and Balkans Policy Research Group. Previous to that, she contributed in the public sector at the Ministry for European Integration, in Prishtina, Kosovo. During her studies, she worked in the private sector in media, marketing and PR companies. Gentiana is a Swedish Institute scholar.
