This publication provides a brief overview of the peace and constitution-building processes in Nepal, starting with the end of decade-long People’s War in 2006 and ending with the promulgation of the Constitution in 2015.

It describes the incredible gains made by national actors over the years and the important supportive role played by the international community.

While many challenges remain, the aim of the publication is to highlight the achievements made so far and how the international community can to continue to play a catalytic role in the implementation of the constitution.
