Time
14:00-15:30 CET

Yukihiko Hamada, Programme Manager for Money in Politics at International IDEA, will participate in a webinar organised by Transparency International discussing the landmark resolution on combatting corruption through transparency in political finance. The resolution was adopted by State Parties at CoSP11, establishing global minimum standards and calling for greater integrity in political party and campaign financing. This 90-min discussion aims to maintain the momentum and support implementation.

During this webinar, speakers and participants will identify practical entry points for implementing and monitoring Resolution 11/7, promote the resolution as a blueprint for strengthening corruption prevention and electoral integrity frameworks, and create space for coordination and exchange among interested stakeholders, including oversight bodies, international organisations, civil society, government representatives, international organisations, and election observers.
