Alisa Schaible

Associate Programme Officer

Alisa Schaible is an Associate Programme Officer of the Digitalization and Democracy programme. Her work particularly focuses on foreign information manipulation and interference, providing research, multi-stakeholder engagement, and project support. 

Previously, Alisa was the Programme Assistant of the Supporting Team Europe Democracy project, where she supported the project with research on democratic governance and multi-stakeholder engagement of pro-democracy actors in Europe and beyond. Alisa first joined International IDEA’s Regional Europe Programme in October 2023 as a Fellow of the Carlo-Schmid-Programme, a scholarship awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. Prior to joining International IDEA, she gained work experience as a consultant for a human-rights organizations, in philanthropy, at the German Ministry for Development and Cooperation (BMZ), and in EU affairs.
