Alisa Schaible

Programme Assistant

Alisa Schaible (she/her) is the Programme Assistant of the Supporting Team Europe Democracy Project (STED) with the Regional Europe Programme in Brussels, Belgium.

As a Programme Assistant of the Supporting Team Europe Democracy project, she supports the project with research on democratic governance and multi-stakeholder engagement of pro-democracy actors in Europe and beyond.

Alisa first joined International IDEA’s Regional Europe Programme in October 2023 as a Fellow of the Carlo-Schmid-Programme, a scholarship awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. As Carlo-Schmid Fellow, her work focused on advocacy initiatives around ethical campaigning and policy monitoring.  

Prior to joining International IDEA, she gained work experience as a consultant for a human-rights organizations, in development cooperation, and EU affairs.
