Katiso Mosoeunyane is the Programme Officer, Africa and West Asia Team. Katiso joined International IDEA in July 2025.

Katiso has over seven years of experience as the Monitoring and Evaluation practitioner and programme Coordinator (Management) within the development space. He has experience in coordinating and managing various projects as well as providing monitoring and evaluation services as well as data analysis, with keen interest in championing inclusion, resilient and effective governance institutions. His research and programmatic interest include Public Finance, hydro-Politics, Resource Management, Corporate Governance, Local Governance, Water and Mineral Resource Governance, Domestic Revenue Mobilisation, Electoral processes, as well as Political Science and Global Politics. 

Until recently, Katiso Mosoeunyane was The Country Program Coordinator Monitoring and Evaluation for the Southern Africa Programme aimed to strengthen and enhance resilient democracy and electoral support for political parties, Electoral Management Bodies and CSOs. Prior to that Katiso acted as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Lesotho, strengthening women and youth’ led CSOs to champion inclusive economic growth.
