Today, March 8, is International Women’s Day.
For us at International IDEA, this is an opportunity to celebrate women’s contributions to democracy.
At this very moment around the world, in parliaments and in the streets, women are advancing democracy by fighting for rights and equality for all.
This year, International Women’s Day is highlighting their contributions, as well as the gap that remains in gender equality, which is nothing less than a gap in democracy.
Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.
At International IDEA, this is our fight too.
