Tunisia, June 2016: International IDEA and the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) organised a series of meetings with Tunisia’s political party leaders - with a view to sensitising them to the importance of women’s participation in decision-making positions within political parties, based on the experience of the Canadian Liberal Party.
These meetings took place as part of an ongoing joint project with the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy.
