The Constitution Building Training Programme of International IDEA is an interactive training tool that reinforces sharing experiences, as a means to building the capacity of practitioners to solve some of the dilemmas that they face in constitution building. It is intended for politicians, public officials, legal practitioners, mediation experts, security sector staff, policy analysts, civil society advocates, media practitioners, lobbyists as well as international actors.
This video highlights the objectives of the training programme, the methodology used and new constitution building resources. It introduces the team behind the development of the programmme and the participants from the training course held in Barcelona, Spain, where 25 national actors and international practitioners gathered in November 2011 at the Montjuïc Castle to take part in this course.
