Politcal parties that are found eligible to participate in the previous elections and that passed the 10% national threshold are eligible for public funding. All the public funding to political parties that fullfill the above criteria is 2/5000 of the annual general budget. This amount is then allocated to political parties in proportion to the votes they recieved in latest general elections. Political parties that recieve above 3% of the total valid voles are also eligible for public funding. The calculation of the amount that these parties recieve is based on the party that exceeded 10% threshold but recieved the least amount of funds.

 The allocation for free access to media for political parties is based on the seat shares of the political parties. All political parties that are registered for election have 10 minutes in the first day of election campaign period and 10 minutes last day of the electoral campaign period. For political parties that have parliamentry groups has additional 10 minutes, incumbent party with higher number of seats have an additional 20 minutes and smaller governing party has additional 15 minutes of access to media. The Constitutional Court inspects the lawfullness of political parties revenues and spending regularly.

Law on presidential Elections (Article 14). Seçim hesapları ile bağış, yardım ve harcamalara ilişkin bilgi ve belgeler, seçim sonuçlarının kesinleşmesini izleyen on gün içerisinde Yüksek Seçim Kuruluna sunulur. All the election accounts, donations, and spending of the candidates are submitted to the Supreme Electoral Council in between 10 days after the announcement of final election results.

For presidential candidates violations the Supreme Electoral Council first gives appropriate time to the violator to fix the problems in the reports. If there are violation regarding the limits or if there are some amount which is not spend these revenues are transsferred directly to the treasury. For political parties: The Constitutional Court performs its audit by examining documents and/or conducting investigations and making inquiries at the parties’ headquarters or their local branches. The Court is assisted by the Court of Accounts in the preparation of technical review reports.   For political parties the Constitutional Court has the power to transfer the amount as a result of violations directly to the State Treasury.

The Law on Political Parties imposes four types of administrative sanctions: a court notice (Article 104); confiscation by the State Treasury or liquidation of property (Article 76 in violation of Articles 67, 69 and 77); depriving political party of state aid (Article 102) for failing to provide documents requested by the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor of the Republic for the Court of Cassation.

Turkish Political Parties Law Article 76. Bu Kanun hükümlerine aykırı olarak bağış kabul ettiği,mal veya gelir edindiği Anayasa Mahkemesince tespit edilen siyasi partilerin, bu yolla elde ettikleri gelirlerin tamamının, Kanunda belirtilen miktarlardan fazla gelirlerle, taşınmaz malların kanuni miktarı geçen kısmının karşılığının Hazineye irat kaydedilmesine, taşınmaz malların ise Hazine adına tapuya tesciline karar verilir. Bu Kanunun 67 nci maddesi hükmüne aykırı olarak siyasi partilere sağlanan kredi veya borçlar üzerine Anayasa Mahkemesi kararıyla Hazinece elkonulur, kredi veya borcu verene karşı Hazine hiçbir yükümlülük altına girmez.  Bu Kanunun 69 uncu maddesinde belirtilen esaslara aykırı olarak bir siyasi partinin tevsik edilmeyen kaynaklardan gelir sağladığı anlaşılırsa, Anayasa Mahkemesi kararıyla bu gelir Hazineye irat kaydedilir. Belgelendirilmesi gerektiği halde belgelendirilmeyen parti giderleri miktarınca parti malvarlığı, Anayasa Mahkemesi kararıyla Hazineye irat kaydedilir.
