2013 Presidential Postal 2014 The law allowing external voting has been enacted in early 2013, allowing voting from abroad for presidential elections in 2014. For the Presidential Elections of 2019, in total 5,948 citizens were registered from abroad, out of 348,305 Salvadoran people living abroad. (Data has been updated in January 2022)
