Gary Klaukka is a former Programme Officer in the Political Parties, Participation and Representation Programme.
Klaukka’s research and work focused on money in politics, the future of political parties, gender and political funding as well as parliamentary support.
Klaukka previously worked in UK politics as a political adviser to the Leader of the Opposition in the House of Lords, political assistant to the Leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, and as parliamentary assistant to other Members of Parliament and the members of the House of Lords. He coordinated both parliamentary and local elections in the United Kingdom. In addition to this, he has worked as Chief of Staff for a management consultancy in Mumbai, India, focusing on social change.
