BIOGRAPHY  

Gary Klaukka is a Programme Officer in the Political Parties, Participation and Representation Programme.

Klaukka’s research and work focuses on money in politics, the future of political parties, gender and political funding as well as parliamentary support.

Klaukka has previously worked in UK politics as political advisor to the Leader of the Opposition in the House of Lords, political assistant to the Leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, and as parliamentary assistant to other Members of Parliament and the members of the House of Lords. He has coordinated both parliamentary and local elections in the UK. In addition to this, he has worked as Chief of Staff for a management consultancy in Mumbai, India, focusing on social change.
