Celeste Gómez Romero

Former Programme Assistant

Celeste Gómez Romero is the Programme Assistant in the Paraguay Programme since November 2017.

Gómez Romero work focuses on the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the office projects related to the capacity development of the Electoral Justice, notably on inclusion and gender mainstreaming.

Gómez Romero has been a consultant at Transparency Paraguay between 2005-2008. She has participated as an electoral observer in Bolivia in 2008 and 2009 with the Organization of American States (OAS). She has been part of the Technical Secretariat for the Second Paraguayan National Plan on Open Government between 2014-2015.

In 2014, she was categorized as Research Candidate by the National Council of Science and Technology of Paraguay, and in 2015 she was awarded a Chevening Scholarships.
