Brook Teshome Gebre

Former Programme Officer

Brook Teshome Gebre is the Programme Officer in the Africa and West Asia regional office. Gebre is responsible for managing existing International IDEA's programmes that relate to political processes in Ethiopia. He is currently managing two projects entitled "Establishing an Environment for Inclusive, Knowledge-based Dialogue on the Political Process in Ethiopia" and "Towards a Leadership Programme for Peace, Reconciliation, and Conflict Resolution in Ethiopia". 

Prior to his work with International IDEA, Gebre worked for The Carter Center as a Programme Associate—with a particular focus on resolving the Sudan-South Sudan Conflict by promoting socio-cultural exchange and soft-border cooperation between the Sudanese people.
