Bridget McCarthy is the Staff Learning and Development Officer at International IDEA.

McCarthy focuses on designing and building organizational learning and development strategies and solutions.

McCarthy’s previous work experience includes leading the global learning and development departments for large multinationals such as Verizon, JPMorgan Chase, and AIG, and for UN organizations in Liberia, the DR Congo, Hungary, and Ethiopia. She also served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal early on in her career after teaching English for many years in Seville, Spain.
