Antonine Onyando Riany was the Finance and Administrative Officer of the Kenya Programme in Nairobi.

Riany joined International IDEA on 5 April 2021. Antonine is a Finance and Grants Management professional with close to 15 years hands on experience in Strategic leadership and management, programme development, project design, grants management, organizational system strengthening, supply chain management, enterprise risk management and partner’s capacity building.

In addition to her education, she is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. Currently, she is pursing Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) course.

Prior to joining International IDEA, she served as the Finance and Administration Officer at Uraia Trust funded by Danida, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) formerly the Department for International Development (DfID), Diakonia Sweden, UN Women, International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), USAID and Global Affair Canada (GAC) through Care Kenya. Previously, she worked at American Institutes for Research –Kenya (USAID funded); Constitution and Reform Education Consortium (CRECO) funded by Pact Kenya (USAID), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), HIVOS, Action Aid Kenya, Ford Foundation and Fineline Systems and Management Limited.
