Amarilia Marta Mutemba is the Programme Manager in the Mozambique office.

Mutemba was Operations Manager and then Country Representative at the Association of West European Parliamentarians for Africa (AWEPA) Office in Mozambique from 2007 to 2017, where she focused on elections observation, parliamentary support, local government strengthening, and political party support. After leaving AWEPA, she was briefly Programme and Training Coordinator at the Centre for Democracy and Development (CEDE), a Mozambican NGO in the field of democracy and governance, with a strong focus on elections and conflict resolution.
