Issues in relation to which referendums are mandatory at the national level

[…] If a law is adopted by a three-fifths or less thantwo-thirds majority of the total number of votes of the Assembly and is notreferred by the President for further consideration, it shall be published inthe Official Gazette and shall be submitted to referendum. […]
Referendumsare not mandatory for all constitutional amendments. There are twopossibilities:
- Referendums are optional when the assembly adopts the draft law referred by the President by 2/3 majority or, if not referred to by the President, is adopted by 2/3 of the assembly directly.
- Referendums are mandatory when the amendment is adopted by 3/5 or less than 2/3 of the assembly, and is not referred to by the President for further consideration.
