The tabulation of the results was done by the MECs and the CiECs, which applied a double blind data entry system, with two data entry clerks consecutively entering the results. A few hours after the closing of the polls, the SEC announced preliminary results on its website and via a dedicated smartphone application.

Voting results are entered into electronic system in municipal or district electoral bodies. Data Processing Croatia has the possibility to use web applications (such as, java) and “legacy” (CICS). The technology selection depends on each municipality/district technical equipment. The Electoral Board has possibility to use mobile communications for logical control and turnout report.
