Article 23: ”To organize the Electoral Register, the Commission shall: prepare the register of voters at the level of the Republic of the Sudan or abroad in the manner and time as prescribed by the rules, revise the Electoral Register by addition, deletion or amendment once per annum, or three months before any elections or referendum takes place, according to the provisions of this Act, make the Electoral Register available for public display to allow for revision of voters’ details and objections to entries, specify the period for the display of the register during which voters may apply to correct the details of their entries or change their place of residence'.

Method adopted in 2008.
