Legal provisions for mandatory referendums at national level

Article 45
TheCoprinces, with the countersignature of the Head of Government, or whenappropriate, of the Syndic General, have the political responsibility for:
b) Calling areferendum in accordance with articles 76 and 106 of the Constitution.
Article 76
The Head ofGovernment, with the approval of the majority of the General Council, mayrequest the Coprinces to call a referendum on political matters.
Article 106
The revisionof the Constitution shall require the approval of the General Council by amajority of two-thirds of the members of the Chamber. Immediately after itsapproval the proposal shall be submitted to ratification in a referendum.
