Are official election results processed by an electronic tabulation system?

The results are tabulatedmanually, According to Article 56 of the Eritrean Electoral Law 2002, At theconclusion of the voting process, votes shall be counted immediately in allelection posts based on directives that the Commission issues; After finishingcounting, the voting boxes shall be sealed and transferred to sub-regionalelectoral office; Results of counting at the election post shall be declared tothe public immediately; Sub-regional electoral offices shall immediatelyre-count the votes and, based on the count approve the result of the electionpost, correct the result or reject the count result and declare the outcome tothe public.
