According to Article 5 of the Eritrean Electoral Law 2002, one of the duties of the Electoral Commission is to ensure the ensures that registration is conducted properly and satisfies the election process requirements; Article 21 of the Law continues to say that Voters shall register on a voter register prepared by the Commission.
