According to the African Union EOM Report tothe Equatorial Guinea Elections 2013, The Ministry of Planning, EconomicDevelopment and Investment and especially voter registration services, adepartment within the Department of Statistics, is responsible for processingthe voters list. The electoral law provides a remedy relating to the electoralroll. The law recognizes any Equatorial Guinea 18 provided with an identitycard registration fee on the electoral roll.

Voter registration in Equatorial Guinea ismandatory. The register of electors is permanent and updated annually onJanuary 1st.
