34. (1) TheAttorney-General shall have power, in any case in which he considers itdesirable so to do—
(a) to institute and undertakecriminal proceedings against any person before any civil court in respect ofany offence against any law in force in Anguilla;
(b) to take over and continue anysuch criminal proceedings that have been instituted by any other person orauthority; and
(c) to discontinue at any stage before judgment isdelivered any criminal proceedings instituted, or undertaken by himself or anyother person or authority.
