If the court states in the reporton the trial of an election application that any person has been guilty of acorrupt and illegal practice or that there is reason to believe that corruptand illegal practices have extensively prevailed at the election to which theapplication refers, that statement with the evidence taken at the trial shallbe transmitted by the registrar of the court to the Prosecutor-General, with a view to the institution of any prosecution in relation thereto
