Who carries out investigation for election-related criminal offenses?

Article128: Jurisdiction

In respect of offences under thischapter, except section 117 –

1- Jurisdiction to try the same and toimpose the penalties prescribed shall vest in the Magistrates’ Courts;

2- The Attorney general shall not haveauthority to order a stay of proceedings.
