Law No2005/007 of27 July 2005 regarding the Code of Penal Procedure / Loi No2005/007 du 27juillet 2005 portant Code de Proc?dure P?nale

 

Art. 16: The search warrant is the order given by thepublic prosecutor, the Juge or the competent Court to enter any private orpublic place in order to investigate and capture any item or document that hasbeen used to commit an offence or that is the result of an offence.

Since neither thepenal nor the electoral code specifies anything in this respect, investigationsfor election-related criminal offences are carried out by the police andelection-related criminal offences are prosecuted by the public prosecutor,like any other criminal offence.
