316 Investigation etc.
(1) In this section:
authorised officer means a person authorisedby the Electoral
Commission under subsection(2).
(2) The ElectoralCommission may, by instrument in writing signed by
the Electoral Commissioneron behalf of the Electoral
Commission, authorize aperson or a person included in a class of
persons to perform dutiesunder this section.
