106. (1) The following questions shall be referred toand determined by the High Court in accordance with sections 106 to 129:
(a) where leave has been granted under section 52(2)ofthe Constitution, any question whether any person has been validly appointed asa Senator or validly elected as a member of the House of Representatives; and
(b) any question whether any person has been validly electedas a member or to an office of a Municipal Council or of the Tobago House ofAssembly.
(2) Every such reference shall be by a petition, inthis Act referred to as a representation petition.
