Petitions against elections

52. A petitioncomplaining of an undue return or undue election of a member of the Council (inthis Act called an election petition) may be presented to the High Court by any one ormore of the following persons, that is to say—

(a) some person who voted or had a right to vote at the election to whichthe petition relates;

(b) some person claiming to have had a right to be returned at suchelection;

(c) some person alleging himself to have been a candidate at such election.
