PARTVIII-Election Petitions

86.Presentation of election petition and security for costs

Thefollowing provisions shall apply with respect to the presentation of anelection petition-

...

(b)at the time of the presentation of the petition, or within three daysafterwards, security for the payment of all costs, charges and expenses thatmay become payable by the petitioner -

(i)to any person summoned as a witness on his behalf;

(ii)to the member whose election or return is complained of; or

(iii)to any other person named as a respondent in the petition,

shallbe given on behalf of the petitioner; and

(c)the security shall be to an amount of three thousand dollars and shall be given bydeposit of money in the Grand Court.
