Article 71
[…] A law or other act adopted by referendum must, within 5days, be signed and officially promulgated by the President of the Republic.If the President of the Republic does not sign and promulgate such a law withinthe specified period, the law shall come into force after it is signed andofficially promulgated by the Speaker of the Seimas.

Article 149

ThePresident of the Republic shall sign the adopted law on the alteration of theConstitution and officially promulgate it within five days. Ifthe President of the Republic does not sign and promulgate such a law withinthe specified time, this law shall come into force when the Speaker of theSeimas signs and promulgates it…

Article 8.Determination of Results of Consultative (Deliberative) Referendum

2. In the event, that over one half of the votershave taken part in the referendum and at least one half of those voters whohave participated, have been in favour of the resolution, the resolution shallbe deemed as having been adopted. The issue of the conducting of this referendum must be deliberated inthe Seimas according to the procedure established by the Seimas Statute, withinone month from its announcement.

3. In the event whenfewer voters have taken part in the referendum, than has been stipulated in paragraphone of this Article, it shall be deemed that the referendum has not takenplace, and the voter’s opinion voiced during its course, may be considered inthe Seimas during the deliberation of laws and other draft legal acts.
