ARTICLE 3. Subject - Matter of All-Ukrainian Referendum.

Thesubject-matter of All-Ukrainian referendum can be:

- confirmationof the Constitution of Ukraine, its separate provisions, as well asintroduction of changes and amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine;

- adoption,change or cancellation of Laws of Ukraine or their separate provisions;

- adoption ofdecisions which determine the principal content of the Constitution of Ukraine,Laws of Ukraine, and other legislative Acts.

ARTICLE 5. Questions Submitted to All-Ukrainian Referenda.

Questionsattributed by the Constitution of Ukraine to Ukrainian jurisdiction can besubmitted to All-Ukrainian referendum.

Questions onrealization of Ukrainian people' s right to self-determination and joiningfederative or confederative state formations, as well as leaving them may besubmitted to All-Ukrainian referendum only.

Changing certain articles (see Article 156) of the Constitution requires mandatory referendum.
