Art. 3(3) of The Law on Political Parties (294/2007, amended in 2025)

“(3) Partidele politice nu pot organiza acte de caritate sau de sponsorizare, nu pot practica activități comerciale cu bunuri de consum sau de primă necesitate, inclusiv nu pot face publicitate acestora, nu pot organiza și desfășura activități militare, paramilitare, precum și alte activități interzise prin lege.”

Art. 17(2) din Legea privind partidele politice (294/2007, modificată în 2025):

“(2) În vederea realizării scopurilor şi sarcinilor statutare şi de program, partidele politice au dreptul: [...]

c) să fondeze şi să dispună de mijloace de informare în masă proprii, să desfăşoare activitate editorială în conformitate cu legea;”

“(3) Political parties may not organize charitable or sponsorship activities, may not engage in commercial activities involving consumer goods or basic necessities, including advertising such goods, and may not organize or carry out military or paramilitary activities or other activities prohibited by law.”

Art. 17(2) of The Law on Political Parties (294/2007, amended in 2025):

"(2) In order to achieve their statutory and programmatic goals and tasks, political parties have the right: [...]
c) to establish and dispose of their own mass media outlets, to carry out editorial activities in accordance with the law;"
