Внеском на підтримку політичної партії є грошові кошти чи інше майно, переваги, пільги, послуги, позики (кредити), нематеріальні активи, будь-які інші вигоди нематеріального або негрошового характеру, у тому числі членські внески членів політичної партії, спонсорство третіми особами заходів чи іншої діяльності на підтримку партії, товари, роботи, послуги, надані або отримані безоплатно чи на пільгових умовах (за ціною, нижчою за ринкову вартість ідентичних або подібних робіт, товарів та послуг на відповідному ринку), отримані політичною партією, її місцевою організацією, яка в установленому порядку набула статусу юридичної особи.

Стаття 15, Закон "Про політичні партії в Україні" (2001):
Загальний розмір (сума) внеску (внесків) на підтримку політичної партії від громадянина України протягом одного року не може перевищувати чотирьохсот розмірів мінімальної заробітної плати, встановленої на 1 січня року, в якому здійснювалися внески.
Загальний розмір (сума) внеску (внесків) на підтримку політичної партії від юридичної особи протягом року не може перевищувати восьмисот розмірів мінімальної заробітної плати, встановленої на 1 січня року, в якому здійснювалися внески.

Article 14, Law "On Political Parties in Ukraine" (2001):
A donation in support of political party shall mean the monetary funds or other property, benefits, allowances, services, loans (credits), intangible assets, any other intangible or nonmonetary benefits including membership fees of the party members, sponsorship by the third parties of the events or other activities in support of the party, goods, works, services provided or received for free or at discounted price (at a price lower than the market value of identical or similar works, goods and services in the relevant market) that were received by the political party or its local organization which has acquired the status of a legal entity.

Article 15, Law "On Political Parties in Ukraine" (2001):
The overall value (amount) of donation(s) made in support of political party by Ukrainian citizen over one year shall not exceed four hundred minimum monthly salaries, providing that the amount of the minimum monthly salary shall be established as of January 1 of the year when the donation was made.
The overall value of donation(s) made in support of political party by the legal entity over one year shall not exceed eight hundred minimum monthly salaries, providing that the amount of the minimum monthly salary shall be established as of January 1 of the year when donation was made.

According to Ukrainian law, the spending limit for a party includes third-party expenditures on their behalf. According to the Electoral Code of Ukraine, candidates are subject to the same restrictions as political parties. As of 2025, the minimum salary in Ukraine is UAH 8,000. Accordingly, the contribution limit for individuals is UAH 3,200,000/USD 77,784, and the contribution limit for legal entities is UAH 6,400,000/USD 155,568.

In national (parliamentary and presidential) elections, restrictions are applied under the Law “On Political Parties in Ukraine,” which also applies during the inter-election period. In particular, Article 15 of the Law “On Political Parties in Ukraine” refers to: Part 1, 3 of Article 96 of the Electoral Code of Ukraine (restrictions on entities in presidential elections), Part 2 of Article 96 of the Electoral Code of Ukraine (restrictions on the size of contributions in presidential elections); Parts 1 and 3 of Article 152 of the Electoral Code of Ukraine (restrictions on entities in parliamentary elections), Part 2 of Article 152 of the Electoral Code of Ukraine (restrictions on the size of contributions in parliamentary elections).
