Die Wahlwerbung ist gesetzlich nicht geregelt.
Die grundsätzliche Möglichkeit der Wahlwerbung wird geschützt durch
– Artikel 5 Absatz 1 Grundgesetz (GG) (Pressefreiheit),
– Artikel 5 Absatz 3 GG (Kunstfreiheit) und
– Artikel 21 GG (Parteienprivileg).

Election advertising is not regulated by law.
However, the fundamental possibility of election advertising is protected by
– Article 5(1) of the Basic Law (GG) (freedom of the press),
– Article 5(3) GG (freedom of art), and
– Article 21 GG (privilege of political parties).
