52. Must reports from political parties and/or candidates reveal the identity of donors?

Artículo 56.

3. Los partidos políticos deberán expedir recibos foliados en los que se hagan constar el nombre completo y domicilio, clave de elector y, en su caso, Registro Federal de Contribuyentes del aportante. Para el caso de que la aportación se realice con cheque o transferencia bancaria, la cuenta de origen deberá estar a nombre del aportante. Invariablemente las aportaciones o cuotas deberán depositarse en cuentas bancarias a nombre del partido político, de conformidad con lo que establezca el Reglamento.

Article 56.

3. Political parties must issue numbered receipts stating the full name and address, voter registration number, and, if applicable, Federal Taxpayer Registry number of the contributor. If the contribution is made by check or bank transfer, the originating account must be in the contributor's name. All contributions or dues must be deposited into bank accounts in the name of the political party, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.
