16. Is there a limit on the amount a donor can contribute to a political party during an election?

Artículo 30.1, Resolución Jefatural N.° 000030-2025-JN/ONPE (Reglamento de Financiamiento y Supervisión de Fondos Partidarios), 2025

Las organizaciones políticas pueden recibir aportes o ingresos procedentes de la financiación privada, mediante:
a) Las cuotas y contribuciones en efectivo o en especie de cada aportante como persona natural y persona jurídica nacional, incluido el uso de inmuebles, a título gratuito, no superen en un año calendario el  equivalente a doscientas unidades impositivas tributarias (200 UIT) por aportante para cada organización política. En ningún caso un aportante puede aportar más de quinientas unidades impositivas tributarias (500 UIT) al año, sin importar el número de organizaciones políticas a las que aporte.

Political organizations may receive contributions or income from private financing through:
a) Fees and contributions in cash or in kind from each contributor as a natural person or national legal entity, including the free use of real estate property, that do not exceed in one calendar year the equivalent of two hundred tax units (200 UIT) per contributor for each political organization. In no case may a contributor contribute more than five hundred tax units (500 UIT) per year, regardless of the number of political organizations to which they contribute.
