For candidates other than presidential candidates, the Regulation establishes maximum caps per contributor (Art. 71) and requires identification/banking depending on amounts — which indicates that there is no absolute prohibition for domestic for-profit companies (these may contribute within the limits), while prohibited sources (e.g., foreign for-profit companies) remain banned and, if a candidate receives contributions from a prohibited source, the sanction applies.
