Artículo 140. Los partidos políticos tendrán derecho, en igualdad de condiciones, al uso de los medios de comunicación social que el Gobierno Central administre y a recabar y recibir informes de todas las autoridades públicas sobre cualquier materia de su competencia, que no se refieran a relaciones diplomáticas reservadas.

Artículo 266. Las radioemisoras y televisoras otorgarán a todos los candidatos y partidos un beneficio único, igual y lineal del 20% de descuento en las tarifas de compras regulares publicadas por cada medio al 31 de diciembre del año anterior a su aplicación.
Artículo 583. Se sancionará con multa de mil balboas (B/. 1 000.00) a diez mil balboas (B/. 10 000.00) a las radioemisoras o televisoras que incumplan la obligación prevista en el artículo 266 de otorgar el descuento sobre la propaganda allí prevista.

Article 140. Political parties shall have the right, under equal conditions, to the use of the social communication media administered by the Central Government and to request and receive reports from all public authorities on any matter within their competence, which do not refer to reserved diplomatic relations.

Article 266. Radio and television stations will grant all candidates and parties a unique, equal, and linear benefit of a 20% discount on the regular purchase rates published by each medium as of December 31 of the year prior to its application.

Article 583. Radio or television stations that fail to comply with the obligation provided in Article 266 to grant the discount on the propaganda provided therein shall be sanctioned with a fine of one thousand balboas (B/. 1,000.00) to ten thousand balboas (B/. 10,000.00).
