56. Which institution(s) is responsible for examining financial reports and/or investigating violations?

(2) The Auditor General or an auditor appointed by the Auditor General shall audit the financial records of apolitical party in respect of the State funds which a political party receives pursuant to section 21.

The registrar of Political parties receives the financial reports and forwards them to the auditor general to examine it and provide a report to responsible bodies.
