Comment

Donations above MK1,000,000 (approx. $1000) from individuals and above Mk2,000,000 (approx. $2000) have to be declared to the registrar of political parties within 90 days after they are given to a party.

Importantly, there are no clear provisions for candidates to report this after their campaign period. However, considering electoral laws are predominantly similar for both candidates and political parties, the assumption is that this provision also applies to candidates. Especially, when they are requested to produce financial reports for their campaigns.
