23. Is there a ban on political parties engaging in commercial activities?

Section 71(3)(b)(iv) of the National Assembly Electoral Act of 2011 (hereandafter as the Act) relates only to moneys allocated to a political party from the Consolidated Fund for contesting elections that may not be used to directly or indirectly invest in any business or property.
