6. The control and audit group, on the written instructions of the Central Election Commission:
1) checks the financial reports of candidates, political parties, lower election commissions;
2) requests and receives information from candidates, political parties, election commissions on all issues within its competence;
3) controls the observance of the established procedure for financing the conduct of the election campaign, the implementation of other measures directly related to the conduct of the election campaign of candidates, political parties;
4) appeals to state bodies, organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, as well as to citizens on issues attributed to the jurisdiction of the control and audit group, requests the necessary information and materials related to the financial support of elections. The responses to the requests of the control and audit group and the materials requested by it are provided within 3 days, and 5 or less days before the voting day and on the voting day - immediately;
5) draws up documents on financial irregularities in the financing of elections;
6) puts before the relevant election commission questions about the application of measures of responsibility to candidates, political parties, as well as to citizens and legal entities for violations committed by them when financing the election campaign of candidates, political parties;
7) involve experts in conducting inspections, preparing opinions and expert assessments.
