47. Do political parties have to report regularly on their finances?




Banking or other institutions are obliged to weekly, and at the request of the Central Election Commission, within 24 hours, to submit to the Central Election Commission information on the receipt and expenditure of funds in the special account of a candidate, political party. The specified information, as it becomes available, is subject to mandatory placement by the Central Election Commission on the official website, taking into account the legislation on personal data and bank secrecy.

Article 22. Control over the activities of a political party
The territorial bodies of the state tax service of the Kyrgyz Republic exercise control over the sources of income of a political party, the amount of funds received by it and the payment of taxes.
