23. Is there a ban on political parties engaging in commercial activities?

Turkish Political Parties Law. Article 61. (d), (e), (g). Political parties can engage in the below party related commercial activities: (1) Revenues from sales of party flag and other related material; (2) revenues from party membership card sales;  (3) revenues from activities that are prepared by the political parties such as concerts, entertainment and ball. Article 67. Siyasi partiler ticari faaliyette bulunamazlar. Political parties cannot engage in commercial activities.

Only party related commercial activities are allowed in Turkish Political Parties Law. In the same Law political parties are strictly prohibited from engaging in any commercial activities.
