37. (1) Subject to this section, a candidate at an election is public school entitled, for purposes of holding a public meeting for promoting or procuring the election of a candidate, to the use at all reasonable times during the period commencing on the day on which the notice of election is given, and ending on the day preceding the day of election, of any suitable room in any public school situated within the constituency for which he is a candidate.
