"Who will count the votes? When and where will counting take place?

The votes are counted at the polling stations. The counting process commences as soon as the polling stations close. Vote counting is conducted manually by members of executive election committees.

However, for this presidential election, 13,000 polling stations are equipped with electronic equipment to count votes digitally. Only the polling station committees and representatives of the Guardian Council and governor and candidate agents are permitted to be present during this process."
