If e-voting is NOT currently being used, what is the current status of e-voting in general?

E-voting has never been used in Haiti. This article discusses the proposals for the introduction of E- Voting in Haiti. Public debate on e-voting sparked before the 2006 general elections, with poor results: although many political parties reportedly upheld such innovation, the measure didn´t meet with the approval of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). After the report of 2015 elections over allegations of mass frauds, some actors of public life re-proposed the introduction of electronic voting. More recently, a feasibility study on Feasibility of Electronic Voting in Haiti issued as part of the Haïti Priorise Initiative launched by the Copenhagen Consensus Center on February 2017.
